Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Overview
Revolution is now hiring for a Maintenance Technician position in Terre Haute, IN. This role will be responsible for repairing, improving, and maintaining all facility equipment. The successful candidate will be capable of working within a team environment and be individually motivated to accomplish goals and objectives.
Responsibilities- Work responsibly in a safe manner, following all safe operating procedures and posted requirements.
- Perform all types of mechanical work and electrical repair work related to equipment.
- Welding and other fabrication as needed.
- Continuously look for ways to cut costs without a detriment to the quality of the equipment.
- Learn and increase knowledge on known and unknown equipment.
- Preventive maintenance (check oil levels, change filters, inspect the equipment, repair equipment, etc.).
- Communicate with all levels of Management, including intergroup and intra-group communication.
- Complete assigned tasks as instructed.
- High School diploma, or GED required.
- Technical certificate in electrical or machine maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Industrial, electrical, mechanical, troubleshooting experience required.
- Experience working on plastic extrusion equipment preferred.
- Necessary math skills - addition, subtraction, and multiplication to record accurate reports.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Ability to periodically lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Frequently lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for 12 hours in a non-climate controlled environment.
