About the Position

Schedule & Requirements

Shift Type:  Nights (3×12);  48‑hour schedule accepted

Weekend Requirement:

4 weekend shifts per schedule cycle

Nights must work  1 Sunday  per schedule

Floating:  Required—within scope; includes Prison Unit

Unit Type:  Medical Surgical / Oncology

Primary Responsibilities

Deliver safe, effective care to med‑surg and oncology patients.

Perform assessments, administer medications, and complete required documentation.

Utilize MEDITECH for accurate and timely charting.

Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.

Work collaboratively with physicians, care teams, and support staff.

Float to additional units as needed, including the  Prison Unit  (within RN scope).

Maintain professionalism, reliability, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

Requirements
✅  Experience

Minimum 1 year  of recent Medical-Surgical RN experience

Oncology experience preferred but not required

Charting System:
MEDITECH

✅  Licensure

Active  Indiana RN license
OR

Active  Compact RN license  (IN participates in NLC)

✅  Certifications (Required)

BLS (AHA)
