Position Overview

Medical Solutions Direct Hire is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Psychiatric for a permanent, full‑time day and night shift role in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Direct Hire | Full‑Time | Day & Night Shifts

• 36 hours per week
• 12‑hour shifts (day and night)
• Shift schedule: 7:00 am – 7:30 pm / 7:00 pm – 7:30 am
• Night and weekend shift differentials offered (amount varies by unit)

• Hourly rate up to $45 per hour (DOE)
• Shift differentials available (up to $10/hr)

• Clinical knowledge of psychiatric nursing, including growth and development, psychopathology, and psychosocial systems
• Effective communication skills and ability to maintain therapeutic relationships with patients, families, physicians, and staff
• Ability to set limits and respond to potential behavior problems in a caring and consistent manner
• Proficiency in the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation, with timely documentation
• Competent in restraint and seclusion procedures and adherence to hospital policy
• Skills in admission, discharge, and transfer of patients

• Participate in the initiation of a master recovery plan and treatment team meetings
• Administer prescribed treatments and medications correctly
• Conduct patient groups and document sessions in the patient medical record
• Maintain appropriate staffing patterns and nursing care hours in the absence of the unit manager/program director

• Active Indiana RN license (or compact eligible)
• BLS certification (required)
• Graduate of an accredited ASN/ADN or BSN nursing program
• Previous RN experience preferred; new graduates may be considered based on unit and orientation availability
