Nurse Practitioner- PRN

Overview

Matrix Medical Network is an independent provider of comprehensive health assessments, serving people across the nation. We offer a role for Nurse Practitioners (NP) to conduct in‑home health assessments, improving patient outcomes and closing care gaps.

• Conduct adult/geriatric assessments, including medical history, diagnosis, treatment, health education, referrals, case management, follow‑up, and documentation per Matrix guidelines.
• Administer and order point‑of‑care and lab testing as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, social workers, family members, and other medical personnel.
• Collaborate with the Primary Care Physician on patient education and follow‑up.
• Provide services at the member’s residence or skilled nursing facilities.
• Work autonomously, documenting outcomes and adhering to protocols.

• Flexibility:
  Visits scheduled Sunday–Saturday, 8 am–7 pm; schedule based on your availability.
• Competitive Pay:
  Earn income per assessment; 20–100 visits/month can earn $1,800–$11,500 based on $90–$115 per assessment.

• Licensure Support:
  Assistance obtaining additional state licensure or credentialing.
• Transition to Full‑time: PRN providers can move to FT roles with a sign‑on bonus.

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience and NP licensure.
• Current NP licensure in state of practice, including prescription authority or ability to obtain it.
• AANP, AACN, or ANCC board certification in Adult, Adult Gerontology Primary Care, Adult Gerontology Acute Care, Family, Emergency, or Acute Care.
• Current BLS, ACLS, or CPR certification.
• One year of NP experience preferred; new graduates encouraged.
• Valid state driver’s license for state of residence.
• Commercial automobile insurance coverage with bodily injury limits $100,000/$300,000, property damage $50,000, collision/comprehensive deductibles $1,000 or less.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with employee health/medical record software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
