The ideal Assistant Director of Nursing is detail‑oriented, organized, and highly knowledgeable of policies and governmental regulations.

• Manage administrative and functional areas or programs within the Nursing Department.
• Assist the Director of Nursing in overall operation of the department in accordance with company policies, standards of nursing practice, and government regulations, maintaining quality care.
• Delegate to Charge Nurses and Nurse Supervisors the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary to perform their assigned duties.

• Registered Nurse in good standing with a current state license.
• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience.
• One (1) to two (2) years of management/supervisory experience preferred.
• Current/active CPR certification.
