American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with critical care experience for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring an IN or compact RN license.
Requirements- Active RN license (IN or compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Critical care experience required
- BSN not required for this position
- Work in a 36-bed ICU with 24 beds utilized, acute care setting
- Patient population includes respiratory, trauma, neuro, cardiac, renal, and OB diagnoses
- Patient ratios range from 1:2 up to 1:30
- Uses Cerner EMR
- 3x12 hour day shifts, , with self-scheduling
- 3 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule (Saturday and Sunday for day shift)
- Floating to stepdown unit possible
- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity ICU setting
- Navy blue scrubs required
