SummaryWe are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Lab Technician to join our team. QC Lab Technicians work in a variety of laboratory settings where they ensure quality and safety of products, raw materials, and manufacturing processes. Technicians are often responsible for performing tests, recording results, and reporting findings to relevant departments. Technicians play a vital role in ensuring that the products manufactured meet predefined quality parameters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Responsible for conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality performance.
- Collecting and preparing samples for testing (pH, moisture, protein, fat, ash, and viscosity).
- Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and tools.
- Recording, evaluating test data to issued specification.
- Performing routine calibration on testing equipment.
- Responds and reacts to the detection of anomalies and deviations in operation or procedure (performing instrument and method troubleshooting).
- Responsible for documenting and communication of Quality Alert incidents.
- Responsible for reading, understanding and following issued Standard Operating Procedure.
- Maintains Quality records per company SOP.

Education and Experience- Minimum 3-5 years experience in a quality control food manufacturing environment.
- Currently pursuing a higher education preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and good communication skills.
- Limited problem‑solving training a plus.
- Computer skills, especially in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and the ability to manage files and records effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- German language speaking skills is another advantage.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
