Quality Supervisor

Job Summary

Provide quality system support to manufacturing operations to ensure high quality products are shipped to customers.

• Manage and provide guidance to the quality lab staff.
• Oversee day‑to‑day activities in the quality lab.
• Investigate and solve internal and external complaints.
• Initiate and supervise waste/scrap reduction projects.
• Initiate and supervise cost‑saving projects.
• Generate reports and presentations for process improvement or cost justifications.
• Assist with resolving internal and external issues during trials.
• Support customer‑driven initiatives.
• Participate in external audits (customer and third‑party audits such as FSSC
  22000, IMS, etc.): arrange audits, train staff, prepare, close findings, report, track, and elevate issues.
• Participate in internal audits (quality system and GMP): arrange audits, train staff, prepare, close findings, report, track, and elevate issues.
• Administrate and maintain internal, supplier, and customer notification systems; ensure accurate data, timely closures, and accurate exit valuation.
• Track material dispositions and follow up on pending dispositions.
• Participate in daily internal notification meetings.
• Provide direction and guidance to the Notification Coordinator.
• Set and monitor duty priorities and reassign duties as needed.
• Coordinate backup activities during out‑of‑office periods to keep the notification system running.
• Adhere to relevant health, GMP, and safety policies; act as safety leader.
• Ensure all work activities comply with Amcor safety and GMP requirements.
• Enforce company policies and procedures as defined.
• Perform other duties or projects as required.

• Degree in industrial or manufacturing applications, or quality assurance (preferred).
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in blown film, flexo printing, and/or adhesive lamination (preferred).
• Quality‑related experience preferred.
• Minimum green belt certification required.
