Candidate is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the patrons and employees of the property.

- Relay instructions to other Security Officers at the direction of Security Management.
- Maintain understanding of the importance of guest safety.
- Communicate effectively with the public and maintain professionalism and courtesy at all times.
- Provide training to officers as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all rules and regulations of the Indiana Gaming Commission and the standard operating procedures of the property.
- Assist with the destruction of used cards and dice from table games.
- Escort fills, credits, and documents to and from the cage and pit.
- Assist with escorting the casino drop team.
- Identify patrons at entry to prevent underage access to the gaming floor.
- Act as the shift dispatcher and help coordinate the activity of the on‑duty security officers.
- Drive a property vehicle or shuttle as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills And Abilities
Candidate must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups; perform basic arithmetic; apply common sense to carry out written, oral, or diagram instructions; and handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Must possess intermediate PC skills;
Microsoft Office experience is required.
High School Diploma or equivalent. Candidate must have 1–2 years of experience in the security field or equivalent.
Certificates and LicensesCandidate must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing from the Indiana Gaming Commission.
Physical Requirements & Working ConditionsWork environment:
High noise level, exposure to smoke on the casino floor, fast‑paced and demanding setting.
Physical demands:
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs independently and more than 40 lbs with assistance; stand and sit for extended periods; talk and hear properly; strong vision skills including close, peripheral, and focus adjustment. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
