Do you like driving? Want to help individuals get to medical, grocery, and other important appointments? Want to work for a company with a purpose that is actively trying to make West Central Indiana a better place to live?

We are looking for a Driver to transport clients comfortably, safely, and in a timely manner. To be considered for this role, you should have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations. You don’t need a car; we provide drivers with our own vehicles; however, you do need daily transportation to our offices to pick up your bus.

• Safely operating a small transit vehicle.
• Operate a small tablet that has your pick-up/drop-off locations and driving direction map.
• Assist clients with loading and unloading (when requested)
• Answer clients’ questions about the area and local places of interest (when requested)
• Ensure the vehicle is clean and comfortable for all riders
• Perform a five-minute daily safety report of the vehicle condition

• Demonstrated experience as a safe and courteous vehicle operator
• A valid driver’s license
• A relatively clean driving record
• Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
• Familiarity with GPS devices (like Google Maps)
• Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• A polite and professional disposition
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at morning rush hour)
• A high school diploma
