SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individual to join our team as an Administrative Support person. This pivotal role is responsible for the efficient coordination and scheduling of our traffic control personnel and equipment for clients, while also providing essential administrative support to the operations team.
Administrative Support- Maintain and organize job files, permits, site plans, and daily logs, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Answer our toll free dispatch line and process requests.
- Data entry and reporting
- Validate and schedule traffic control for contractors.
- Enter and track requests and scheduling in the company system.
- Answer questions/provide guidance to requestors relating to traffic control.
- Optimize scheduling to minimize overtime and travel costs while maximizing crew utilization
Required
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in the traffic control or road construction industry, minimum 2-5 years
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage frequent changes in scheduling.
- Knowledge of the Ministry of Transportation & Transit TMM & Work Safe regulations (Province of British Columbia)
- Must be able to be flexible on work hours when required
- Read a traffic management plan, and identify/schedule traffic control resources/equipment based on the traffic management plan.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to multi task
Preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite & Google (Word, Excel, Outlook & Google drive/email & Maps).
- Knowledge of completing risk assessments, field level risk assessment, and onsite Traffic management plans.
- Proven experience in a scheduling, dispatch, or administrative role, in relation to the traffic control industry.

Pay: $68,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
