Experienced Automotive Service Advisor

Platinum Ford is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our team.

We're looking for a proven Service Advisor who knows how to take care of customers, communicate effectively, sell needed maintenance and repairs, and keep the repair process moving from write-up through delivery.

Previous dealership Service Advisor experience is required. Ford experience is a strong plus, but not required.

• Greet customers and provide a professional, welcoming service experience
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document their service needs
• Create and manage repair orders from write-up through vehicle delivery
• Review vehicle history and identify maintenance opportunities
• Present technician recommendations clearly and confidently
• Sell needed repairs, maintenance, alignments, and additional services
• Provide accurate estimates and obtain customer authorization
• Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the repair process
• Set realistic expectations for repair costs and completion times
• Work closely with technicians, Parts, and Service management to keep repairs moving
• Follow up on declined services and future maintenance needs
• Keep customers informed of delays, backordered parts, or changes in repair status
• Review completed repairs and invoices with customers at vehicle delivery
• Build long-term customer relationships that drive retention and repeat business
• Maintain strong CSI and customer satisfaction

• Previous automotive dealership Service Advisor experience is required
• Ford dealership experience is a strong plus
• Proven ability to sell automotive service, maintenance, and repairs
• Strong understanding of dealership service operations
• Ability to manage multiple customers and repair orders in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer communication and follow-up skills
• Strong sales and closing skills without sacrificing the customer experience
• Ability to build trust and explain technical information in a way customers understand
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize effectively
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Dependable and accountable
• Team-oriented and able to work effectively with technicians and Parts
• Experience with Xtime and Dealer Track is a plus
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

This is not an entry-level Service Advisor position.

We're looking for someone who already understands the service drive and can effectively manage customers, technicians, repair orders, sales opportunities, and follow-up in a busy dealership environment.

You don't have to come from a Ford store. If you're an experienced dealership Service Advisor with a proven track record, we want to talk to you. Ford experience is a bonus.
