HR Manager, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
The Human Resources Generalist provides strategic and day-to-day HR support aligned with the organization's goals and business objectives. This role partners with leaders and employees across the full employee lifecycle
-including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, engagement, training, and policy administration-to deliver practical solutions, ensure consistent HR practices, and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Trusted Advisor: Serve as a reliable resource to managers and employees, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, attendance, and workplace concerns; support investigations and corrective actions as needed.
Lifecycle Management: Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, training, performance reviews, and offboarding activities.
Workforce Engagement: Partner with leaders to improve engagement, retention, and team effectiveness, particularly within a production workforce.
Floor Presence: Provide responsive, hands-on HR support directly on the production floor, building strong relationships with a diverse workforce.
HRIS & Data Accuracy: Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems (
Workday preferred
); audit records, run reports, and support leaders in the effective use of HR tools.Compensation & Benefits: Assist with compensation and benefits administration, including addressing employee questions, enrollments, and status changes.
Policy & Strategy: Support policy interpretation and ensure consistent application of company practices in alignment with federal, state, and local laws.
Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with HR and business leaders to identify trends, address workforce challenges, and implement practical solutions that improve productivity and reduce turnover.
Change Management: Participate in site initiatives, communications, and change efforts that support operational and cultural priorities.
Professionalism: Must be reliable, self-motivated, and demonstrate sound judgment with a positive attitude.
Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
HR Expertise: Working knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and the ability to handle confidential information with strict discretion.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (Workday preferred).
Problem-Solving: Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Experience: Minimum of 2–4 years of Human Resources experience.
Language:
Bilingual in Spanish is required.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Environment: Prior experience working within a manufacturing environment.
Certification: SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
