Description
VYTRON is seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead to oversee and enhance our Maintenance department at Terrell, TX location.
The position directs daily maintenance, supervising technicians, scheduling preventive/corrective work, and ensuring smooth, safe equipment operation by troubleshooting complex mechanical/electrical issues, managing parts, documenting failure modes and corrective actions, and mentoring the team to maximize uptime and efficiency. This technical expert role balances hands‑on repairs with leadership, focusing on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced industrial setting.
Full Time: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership:
Lead, train, and mentor technicians; assign daily work orders; monitor performance and ensure adequate staffing. - Maintenance Oversight:
Plan and execute preventive (PM) and corrective maintenance on machinery, utilities, and building systems (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic). - Technical Expertise:
Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnose complex faults, and conduct emergency repairs. - Safety & Compliance:
Enforce safety protocols, maintain regulatory compliance, and ensure adherence to company policies. - Operations Support:
Coordinate with production to minimize downtime; support engineering on new installations/upgrades. - Inventory & Documentation:
Manage spare parts inventory, order supplies, and maintain accurate records in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). - Continuous Improvement:
Identify recurring issues, recommend long‑term solutions, and support reliability initiatives.

Skills:
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; proficiency with CMMS; operation of forklifts/lifts. - Leadership:
Ability to motivate, develop, and direct a team; strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Problem‑Solving:
Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities. - Work Ethic:
Highly motivated, dependable, and detail oriented. - Education/
Experience:
Relevant technical training and significant experience in industrial maintenance. - Accept a background check.
