Day-to-day responsibilities for this role include:

• Material handling involving lifting, stacking, loading material onto and off conveyors, material racks and equipment.
• Work is typically performed by a two-person team; ability to walk backwards is required.
• Material is aluminum extrusions, usually 24 feet long, weighing typically 30–60 pounds (weights can be heavier).
• Move dollies (material carts) weighing up to 3,000 pounds to deliver and stage material for processing.
• Tap the ends of material before processing to prevent polyurethane leakage until cure; tasks may require standing, bending, or reaching lower parts with dexterity and speed.
• Operate an overhead bridge crane to move material racks and separate material batches.
• Set up, operate, and adjust department machinery safely, including the Azo-Brader, Fillimeter, and Debridger saw.
• Operate a forklift and maintain certification if required.
• Maintain general housekeeping of the work area.
• Other assignments as required (e.g., occasionally running the punch machine or packing).

• The plant is not air-conditioned; winter temperatures can approach freezing, and summer temperatures can reach up to 110 degrees.
• Company provides all required PPE.
• Noise levels around the Debridge saw require hearing protection.
