Machine Operator 2 Extrusion Day Shift C 6A-6P

• Handling caustic chemicals.
• Operating machinery and an overhead crane.
• Maintaining regular and predictable attendance and adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

• Read written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
• Experience reading and interpreting die drawings.
• Experience using calipers, protractors, squares, micrometers, and feeler gauges.
• Multitask, prioritize, and work under time constraints.
• Communicate well with peers and management.
• Work without supervision.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, with periods of required overtime.
• Team player and willing to be trained to work in other areas as assigned.
• Preference will be given to applicants with former extrusion experience.

• Stand and walk on concrete for up to 12 hours.
• Twist, bend, stoop, and kneel.
• Lift, push, pull, and move up to 75 lbs individually or 150 lbs with a partner.
• Grasp, squeeze, hold, or handle thin to thick metal, small and large items.
• Reach, handle, and grasp while turning upper body during movement and lifting.
• Visual acuity to inspect products for quality flaws and ensure equipment is safe.
• Proper wear of all required Personal Protective Equipment.
• Work in temperatures consistent with regional outdoor climate (heat, humidity, etc.).
