Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily functions as explained and demonstrated by Supervisor in the time allocated per company standards.
  • Process, generate, update, and print reports as required by Supervisor or other Madix personnel.
  • Ensure that all reports are distributed to appropriate personnel at appropriate time frames as directed by Supervisor.
  • Enter updates in SAP as received throughout the day such as shortages, adds, lost in shipping, scrap, etc.
  • Order labels, pallets, and slats as needed.
  • Create special labels as needed, including Pak instructions.
  • Verify parts on the floor as requested from other departments.
  • Manage email effectively and timely.
  • Print, distribute, and transmit data and replies as instructed by lead/supervisor.
  • Retrieve changed/corrected exception reports, including Hot Lists, from lead personnel and notify appropriate personnel of all needs for the day and the following day.
  • Take action to “Driver Waiting” emails immediately.
  • Generate report and advise Lead Person.
  • Communicate changes, corrections, and mark‑ups made by Lead to appropriate personnel and maintain the integrity of reports and documents.
  • Maintain an open line of communication with all Supervisors, Leads, Shipping, and other personnel to ensure that Madix orders flow smoothly through the production cycle.
  • Comply with all work related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.
  • Be a productive, proactive, and contributing team member in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and company policies, including attending mandatory safety training.
  • Be an active participant in lean events as directed by supervisor.

  • Be highly organized and able to effectively prioritize daily tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods; occasionally bend, climb, or squat.
  • Be available to work weekends and/or overtime.
  • Be able to work and concentrate in a noisy, fast‑paced environment.
  • Wear protective equipment such as earplugs, safety glasses, gloves, boots, respirators, etc.
  • Lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience

Requires four‑year high school diploma/ GED or one year Factory/manufacturing related office experience. Ability to read and write in English required. Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus. Intermediate to Advanced computer skills required including Microsoft applications, Excel spreadsheets, and Outlook email. SAP experience a plus. Basic mathematical skills including fractions and decimals. Advanced grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills required. Perform other duties as assigned.

Work

Environment

Work schedule fluctuates according to production schedule. Majority of time spent in a controlled temperature office environment; other times on the manufacturing plant floor with extreme temperature fluctuation. Some overtime and weekend work required as needed. Manual dexterity: operate phone system, keyboard, computers, fax machines, copiers/scanners, heavy file cabinet drawers, printers, and other typical machinery/tools found in an office environment. Dusty and noisy environment on plant floor.

Exposure to odors and fumes on plant floor.
