Machine operator responsible for handling caustic chemicals, operating machinery, and an overhead crane. Attendance, safety compliance, and team collaboration are essential.

• Handle caustic chemicals safely.
• Operate machines and an overhead crane.
• Maintain predictable attendance and strictly follow safety policies and procedures.

• Read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Interpret die drawings.
• Use calipers, protractors, squares, micrometers, and feeler gauges.
• Multitask, prioritize, and work under time constraints.
• Communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Work flexible schedules, including periods of required overtime.
• Be a team player and willing to be trained to work in other areas as assigned.
• Preferable:
  Prior extrusion experience.

• Stand and walk on concrete for the entire shift up to 12 hours.
• Twist, bend, stoop, and kneel.
• Lift, push, pull, and move up to 75 lbs individually or 150 lbs with a partner.
• Grasp, squeeze, hold, or handle thin to thick metal, small and large items.
• Require reaching, handling, and grasping while turning the upper body while moving and lifting.
• Visual acuity to inspect product for various quality flaws and ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Proper wear of all required Personal Protective Equipment.
• Work in temperatures consistent with outdoor climate conditions (heat, humidity, etc.).
