Production Operator
Carlisle Construction Materials, a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology, has an immediate opening for a Production Operator at its CCM Polyiso plant in Terrell, TX.
The Production Operator will take a hands‑on role in the production and warehousing of Poly‑ISO insulation, performing a variety of tasks to maintain the proper flow of materials through the production process.
Duties and Responsibilities- Move materials using a forklift.
- Operate production equipment and packaging equipment.
- Follow production schedules, job instructions, quality standards, specifications, and procedures.
- Detect, correct, and report faulty operations or defective materials.
- Measure, cut, and glue materials.
- Ensure safe equipment operation and personal safety compliance.
- Maintain good housekeeping and workplace organization (5S/Lean Manufacturing).
- Perform other production responsibilities as needed and assigned.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
- Skills in using power and hand tools such as chop saw, table saw, and band saw.
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and read production orders.
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members.
- Ability to read measuring gauges such as a tape measure and calipers.
- Teamwork mindset.

- Forklift experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic computer experience a plus.
- Forklift, saws, pallet jacks, hand tools, bar code equipment and other production equipment.
- Work occurs inside an insulation manufacturing facility; includes exposure to ambient temperatures, nuisance dust, chemicals, mechanical parts, pinch points, and industrial machinery noise.
- Fast‑paced 24/5 operation with likely transition to 24/7.
- Hours:
starting at 8‑hour shifts, pre‑shift work, etc. - Typical days: 5 days per week, depending on demand/covering as needed.
- Shifts:
set shift hired for; may need to transition to other shifts if/when a 12‑hour transition occurs.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Grasp, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Sit, stand, walk, lift, reach above shoulders, bend, and twist.
- Overnight travel up to 10%, including visits to other facilities and training sessions.
