Special Education Teacher
Special Education Teacher on a 12-week contract in Terryville, Connecticut. Responsible for implementing Individualized Education Programs and supporting students with diverse needs. Earn up to $55/hour based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and adapt Individualized Education Programs for students with diverse needs.
- Collaborate with resource teams, teachers, and parents to develop effective support strategies.
- Manage classroom activities and behavior interventions to promote a positive learning environment.
- Assess student progress and document outcomes to inform instruction and reporting.
- Maintain compliance with district and state regulations, including confidentiality and record-keeping.
- Special Education Teacher License
- 1 year of relevant experience
- Background check required
- Adaptability, patience, and strong communication skills
- Premium pay: weekly direct deposit, rates 13% above market average
