Role Description

This is a hybrid role for a Clinician located in Terryville, CT. We are looking for people who are available both during the weekend primarily. The Clinician will be responsible for providing therapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling, managing client cases, and creating treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs. Additional responsibilities include conducting mental health assessments, maintaining accurate documentation, and working collaboratively with other team members to support client care and progress.

The Clinician will play a key role in fostering positive outcomes for clients.

Qualifications
  • Able to work at least one evening or one weekend day/week
  • Strong skills in individual, family, and group counseling, as well as developing and implementing effective treatment plans
  • Proficiency in conducting thorough mental health assessments and maintaining detailed client documentation
  • Excellent communication skills, active listening capabilities, and the ability to build strong therapeutic relationships
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and coordinate care effectively
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  • Active licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LMSW/LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-A/LPC), or equivalent
  • Experience working with diverse populations and addressing a wide range of mental health conditions is preferred
  • Commitment to client-focused, evidence-based therapeutic practices
