Level 2/3+ Vehicle Mechanic/Technician (MoD)
Location:
Ashchurch
Up to £32,760 basic (DOE) progressing to £36,000+ once fully qualified. Salary reviews, yearly pay increases, occasional overtime, 6 % pension, fully funded training and progression opportunities.
OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Vehicle Mechanic/Technician with a Level 2 or 3 qualification to join a leading UK Defence contractor. The role involves servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of military vehicles and equipment, working to high standards and strict guidelines.
Responsibilities- Work on a range of military vehicles and equipment.
- Perform repair, maintenance, servicing and modifications.
- Handle mechanical, electrical and hydraulic tasks.
- Maintain a tidy workshop and fully equipped tools.
- Level 2 or 3 in vehicle mechanics or a similar qualification.
- Experience or enthusiasm for working on military vehicles and equipment.
- British citizenship or ability to obtain security clearance.
- Local to site.
