We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable, multi-franchise approved commercial vehicle dealership in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, for a highly skilled Bus/PCV Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals seeking long-term career stability within a well-established family business.
Working Hours for the PCV Technician:
42.5-hour week, shifts based on a weekly rotating system: 6:00am-3:00pm, 7:00am-4:00pm, and 1:00pm-10:00pm
Working 1 in 3 Saturdays, 7:00am-1:00pm, paid at overtime rates

Duties of the PCV Technician:
Conduct all vehicle service work and preventative maintenance to the highest quality standards and within manufacturer time frames
Diagnosing heavy goods vehicle malfunctions through comprehensive testing and inspection
Carry out repairs, safety inspections, and vehicle diagnostics efficiently
Support colleagues with technical issues and technological advancements
Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Document diagnosis results, repair actions, and safety checks accurately
Contribute to maintaining high customer service standards and vehicle quality
Requirements of the PCV Technician:
Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in PCV/PSV/Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair as a minimum
At least one to two years of practical experience post-qualification as a Vehicle Technician
Ability to produce high-quality work in a high-volume dealer environment
Strong team player with a committed and motivated approach
Motor trade experience in a franchise-approved setting essential
PCV driving licence advantageous but not mandatory
