We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable multi-franchise approved car dealership based in Tewkesbury, seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic Service Department. The Vehicle Technician role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established dealership committed to delivering high standards of vehicle maintenance and repair.

Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, with 1 in 2 Saturdays (8:30am-12:30pm)
Duties of a Vehicle Technician:- Diagnose faults accurately and efficiently on a wide range of vehicles
- Perform routine servicing, repairs, and fault rectification as instructed
- Ensure all work complies with manufacturer and dealership quality procedures
- Report on vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance to the Workshop Controller
- Maintain high standards of workmanship in a busy franchise-approved environment
- Support the efficient running of the Service Department by adhering to safety and procedural standards
- Assist with vehicle inspections and test drives as required
- Keep up-to-date with manufacturer training and technical bulletins
- Work effectively as part of a team, contributing to departmental targets
- Fully qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Minimum 1-2 years post-qualification experience within a dealership or workshop environment
- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- MOT Smart Card would be advantageous but is not essential (training can be provided)
- Motivated individual with a professional attitude and a commitment to quality work
- Strong team player with good communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
