Responsibilities

As an Audit Associate at Baker Tilly you will deliver audit and other assurance services to clients. You will work with privately held and publicly traded companies at all stages of development, proactively engage throughout the year, perform substantive testing on balance sheets and income statements, assess internal controls, and provide recommendations for improvement. You will receive direct coaching, participate in firm‑wide learning programs, and build strong client and internal relationships.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or a related business discipline, with sufficient coursework and credits to sit for the CPA exam in the considered state.
  • Outstanding academic performance; preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Relevant internship, work experience, or involvement with a professional organization.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team with all client personnel levels.
  • Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, interpersonal skills, collaboration, and problem solving.
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities, initiative, and adaptability.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • No immigration sponsorship available for this position.

The compensation range for this role is $64,000 to $81,000. Actual compensation depends on skills, experience, and geographic location.
