Position OverviewWe are looking for a talented Accounting Manager supporting Mycronic's US holding company and its subsidiaries.
In this critical position, you will manage core accounting operations, ensure financial compliance, and provide accurate, timely reporting and serve as a cornerstone for financial integrity, designed for a detail-oriented professional capable of seamlessly bridging the gap between back-office financial operations and global business needs. You will partner closely with operational leadership and cross-functional teams to streamline financial workflows, maintain internal controls, and deliver actionable financial insights that drive operational efficiency and support continued business growth.
This individual contributor position requires a self-motivated problem solver who thrives in a dynamic environment. The role enjoys a hybrid work schedule.
- Lead the end-to-end monthly closing process, managing accruals, account reconciliations, shared-service allocations, and intercompany charges to deliver crisp, insightful management reporting
- Own the annual budgeting process for Mycronic's US holding company and its smaller subsidiaries, partnering with leadership to deliver high-impact financial analysis and decision support
- Serve as the trusted finance professional for US holding-company stakeholders, providing clarity and financial guidance across business initiatives
- Direct US sales-tax compliance and filings in partnership with automated solutions, ensuring flawless execution across state and local requirements
- Oversee corporate income-tax provisions, bookings, extensions, and annual filings, collaborating closely with external advisers to ensure full compliance and strategy alignment
- Lead external audit preparation, manage banking and statutory filings, and oversee financial requirements for corporate insurance
- Serve as a key administrator and super-user for core ERP and financial tools), streamlining workflows and optimizing system integration
- Play a pivotal role in replacing legacy systems, driving modern process improvements, strengthening internal controls, and elevating overall system ownership
- Drive structured transition plans across vendors, legal entities, personnel, and financial systems to ensure seamless execution and continuity during organizational change
- Direct inventory accounting as well as manage the annual physical count process to maintain pristine stock accuracy and control
- Establish clear process documentation and robust internal controls across core business cycles-including procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, payroll, tax, inventory, and financial close
- Strong, clear communicator with sound business judgment, meticulous attention to detail, and the unique ability to balance hands-on operational execution with strategic process leadership
- Ensure crisp, accurate, and timely monthly closes, reconciliations, management reporting, accruals, and intercompany allocations
- Oversee on-time tax filings, vendor disbursements, collections, audit deliverables, and statutory obligations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification is strongly preferred
- 7+ years of hands-on, progressive accounting experience, with proven ownership of the month-end close and core transactional accounting cycles
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, general ledger reconciliations, internal controls, payroll accounting, sales tax compliance, and corporate tax coordination
