The Government Property Specialist will contribute to a fast-paced team and work closely with RTX programs plus a wide network of business partners to support contract performance through Mission Area focus on customer and program assets. This individual will be key in reviewing Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and RTX contracts / proposals requirements and helping establish a consistent approach to management of Government and customer property.

They must be able to lead and collaborate, work with partners to develop system solutions, support initiatives related to process integration, and apply solutions that align with customer and enterprise requirements.

What You Will Do

Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Raytheon Mission Area and program operations.

Serve as a facilitator for process changes and support organizational adoption of updated procedures.

Support efforts to improve efficiency and contribute to developing solutions related to contracting activities involving customer assets.

Communicate with customers (both internal and external) to build and maintain effective working relationships in a dynamic environment.

Collaborate regularly with other teams, programs, and all business partners to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives.

Develop and deliver awareness topics to educate and inform all levels of the Mission Areas and the organization.

Partner with program teams to understand their specific property management and compliance obligations.

Assess current processes, documentation, and system usage for gaps against compliance standards (e.g., FAR, DFARS, internal audit requirements, site procedures).

Coordinate with Property Management, Audit, and Compliance teams to ensure programs meet required controls.

Support program readiness for internal/external assessments by identifying deficiencies and driving corrective actions.

Monitor ongoing compliance status and escalate risks early.

Ensure data accuracy and timeliness in property systems, tracking tools, or required reports.

This position is an onsite position at any of the following locations:
Tewksbury, MA;
Andover, MA;
Marlborough, MA;
Portsmouth, RI.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.

Experience with either Government Property, Supply Chain, or Operations.

Previous experience with DoD requirements.

Qualifications We Prefer

National Property Management Association CPPS certification, or the ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.

Working knowledge of Special Program Access, cPDM, and asset-tracking systems.

Experience communicating effectively, both written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholders.

Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), disclosure statements, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain Top Secret or higher clearance level or program access after start date.
