The Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU) has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Specialist, Contracts within the Global PATRIOT® program area. This role will play an integral role as a Contracts professional within the Central Europe program team. The portfolio is predominately comprised of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) for the production, integration, technical assistance, and sustainment of the Patriot system to European partners.

In this role, you will be responsible for customer communication, contract management, change management, coordination of invoicing, fulfillment of contract requirements in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. You will need to utilize regular application of thorough business acumen and subject matter expertise to understand program performance requirements, provide guidance, and influence results in support of program and financial objectives.

Additionally, the Principal Specialist, Contracts is required to work closely with Program Management leadership, the Office of General Counsel, and cross-functional peers in support of program gate reviews, program management reviews, business strategy sessions, proposal reviews, risk management activities, and all other contractual related matters affecting the portfolio.

This role will work with both internal and external customers to support the successful program execution by providing guidance and influencing outcomes to achieve desired results. The successful candidate should have a track record of success in FMS contracting including terms and conditions, cost defense, profit/fee negotiations, and contract execution. Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to have the prerequisite skills and experience to represent Raytheon independently on significant transactions while having ability to develop and maintain trusting relationships with complex customers.
