Role Overview: Program Management, Planning & Scheduling professional to join the Program Design & Planning organization. Responsible for the development, maintenance, and analysis of the Program Master Phasing Schedule and Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedule. Perform analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of critical path, risk integration, IMS structure, and evaluate trends and schedule‑related metrics. Reviews and implements IMS coding, outlining structures, and adherence to directives and department scheduling best practices.
Depending on effort size and complexity, the role may assist the lead scheduler/planner or lead a smaller effort.
- Understand program technical and programmatic solutions and partner with the program team to integrate them into the IMS baseline plan, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical requirements are fully integrated.
- Lead creation and maintenance of compliant Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) that achieve necessary cost and schedule integration.
- Support the team to ensure the program plan and IMS are developed consistently with IPDS and the program life cycle. Review IMS planned work for accuracy, identifying missing or improperly planned work.
- Create, use, and recommend appropriate supplemental program management plans/artifacts (HUM, MPS, First Unit Flow) to help the program team understand and manage the plan.
- Conduct and explain Schedule Risk Analysis results, interpret results, integrate mitigation plans into the IMS, and incorporate schedule risks into the risk management process with a SME.
- Provide weekly and monthly planning metrics on schedule status, baseline maintenance, critical path analysis, schedule variance analysis, and network logic validation, employing Earned Value Management System processes.
- Mentor and train junior planners.
- Minimum of 8 years of Program Planning, Scheduling, or Project Management experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 5 years of experience with an Advance Degree in a related field.
- Experience using scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan, or similar).
- Experience developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and/or evaluating critical path and workflow.
- Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process.
- Facilitate effective integration and maintenance in the IMS of technical, schedule, and cost in an EVMS environment.
- Lead integration and modeling of program solutions into the IMS.
- Interpret/analyze SRA results, schedule risk/opportunity drivers, and schedule probability of success.
- Understand hardware/software development life cycle and exposure to agile methodologies.
- Manage/lead/teach scheduling and EVMS techniques for teams of varying size and backgrounds.
- Ask right questions to ensure IMS integrity and drive process improvement.
- Familiarity with APEX financial systems.
- Knowledge of Cost Estimating/BOE generation.

Salary range: $107,500 – $204,500.
