Raytheon’s Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are safe, reliable, maintainable, and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices, and our customers.

Position: Principal Logistics Specialist. You will be responsible for overseeing the processing of maintenance and supply data associated with the operation of fielded radar facilities utilizing the Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS).

Note:

This onsite unaccompanied position is in Tewksbury, MA.

• Involvement with day-to-day operations of the Logistics Support Plan
• Shipping, receiving inventory
• Control of spares and tools
• Maintaining calibration on test equipment
• Handling hazardous material
• Local procurement of consumables
• Stocking assets with attention to package and handling instructions
• Issuing parts to job orders through the ALCS and preparing them for delivery
• Packing and shipping material through commercial carriers and utilizing the DD1149 produced by ALCS
• Oversight of processing of maintenance functions and configuration management utilizing ALCS associated with the LTAMDS
• Maintaining receipts of local purchase and filing expense reports in a timely manner

• Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with logistics or system maintenance support of technical hardware and/or software in a military or civilian environment.
• Experience with an Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS) or like application for supply and maintenance tracking.
• An active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Project, Team Foundation and Power Point
• Experience as a self-starter with excellent communication, organizational and investigative skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comprehension of logistics standards and functions utilized to support LTAMDS and other military systems
