Senior Test Development Engineer

Tewksbury, MA
• Contract
• 9/80 Schedule • $100.87/hr

Position Overview

As a member of the Sensor Test Solutions department, the candidate will be part of a team responsible for the design, integration, and deployment of test equipment. The equipment is used at our factory in Andover, MA and at depot facilities domestically and internationally. Project teams consist of engineers with expertise in RF, Power, Digital, and Analog, and all engineers are responsible for developing both hardware and software.

  • Design of test station and fixture (electrical schematic capture & PCB design)
What Does Success Look Like

The successful candidate will come up to speed quickly, impact projects by developing test stations/fixtures and automated test software, and demonstrate familiarity with a process-heavy work environment. Projects are almost always team-based (5–10 engineers), so strong collaboration and communication, in addition to technical aptitude, are essential.

Required Qualifications
  • Electrical Test Instrument/Equipment experience
  • Power, RF, Digital Logic, Analog circuit knowledge
  • Automated Test Software development experience
  • Active/current DoD Secret Personnel Clearance (PCL)
  • U.S. Citizenship (as required by U.S. Government)
Desired Skills (Nice-to-Have)
  • Experience with project leadership, cost and schedule management (e.g., EVMS, MS Project)
  • Knowledge of DoD project development life-cycle processes
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Execute assigned technical tasks in a team setting
  • Support scheduled project meetings
  • Report progress periodically (daily, weekly, etc.) as required by the project lead
Tools / Technologies Required
  • Automated test software (C/C++/C#, Lab View, Test Stand)
  • ORCAD and/or Cadence Allegro for PCB design; experience in Power, RF, Digital Logic
Years of Experience and Education Required
  • Minimum of 8–10 years experience
  • STEM bachelor’s degree
