Land Warfare and Missile Defense Systems (LADS) department is seeking a Chief Engineer (CE) to drive the design and development of world‑class Air and Missile Defense Systems. The Ukraine GEM‑T 600‑lot Program CE will be responsible for system analysis, requirements development, hardware and software design, integration, performance testing, and integrated sustainment plans. The role will interface directly with U.S. Government and Ukrainian Government customers and oversee multi‑billion‑dollar contracts, including Engineering NRE activities.
WhatYou Will Do
- Own the technical execution program scope for the Ukraine GEM‑T 600‑lot program.
- Ensure technical integrity and engineering execution while partnering across all Integrated Product Teams, Cross Product Teams and disciplines to meet cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
- Maintain regular cadence of communication with Engineering and Program Leadership Teams.
- Attend Product Line and Project Team meetings to identify and drive risk and opportunity handling plans.
- Lead Engineering Program Review roll‑up and approvals in support of estimate‑at‑complete and latest‑revised‑estimate processes.
- Provide technical advisory dispositions for Export / Import compliance.
- Travel 10% domestic/international as needed.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics and minimum 12 years of relevant experience.
- Experience developing work plans and driving execution.
- Experience leading engineering teams and managing resources with multi‑million‑dollar annual budgets.
- Experience in strategic development, customer interface, or contract capture in the defense industry.
- Active, transferable U.S. Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
- Experience in Patriot Program or similar system design, development, integration, verification, production, and sustainment.
- Experience in strategic development, customer interface, or contract capture in the defense industry.
- Direct experience with International FMS/DCS programs and partner engineering execution.
- Direct experience with Army IAMD Systems of Systems.
- Experience in concepts of operations development and system‑level architecture design.

- Salary range: $157,200 – $298,800.
