Onsite Electrical Engineer – AESA Measurement
U.S. Citizenship is required. A DoD Secret clearance (or interim clearance) must be obtained prior to the start date.
Responsibilities- Conduct measurements of AESA systems in a near‑field range.
- Mentor junior engineers and oversee the development of their technical skills.
- Process and analyze measurement data using MATLAB, creating new tools when commercial solutions are insufficient.
- Travel to integration sites, customer and subcontractor facilities as needed.
- Work flexible hours, including 2nd and 3rd shift and weekend shifts (typical 2nd shift: Sunday – Wednesday or Saturday – Wednesday, 2p.m.–12a.m.).
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM, plus a minimum of five years relevant experience.
- Experience in antenna/radar analysis, hardware design and testing.
- Proficiency with near‑field range measurement and data processing.
- Familiarity with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST, or Mentor Graphics Xpedition, and analytical tools such as MATLAB.
- Strong understanding of AESA and array technologies, including near‑field to far‑field transformation.
- Experience leading technical and programmatic efforts, including cost and schedule management.
- Skilled in technical, proposal, and oral presentation writing.
- Comfortable with multi‑tasking and self‑directed learning.
- Strong academic background in microwave engineering, electromagnetic theory, radar systems, and related courses.
- Hands‑on microwave testing experience with spectrum analyzers, real‑time spectrum analyzers, VNAs, and PNAs.
- Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering is a plus.
- Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
