About the Role
We have an opportunity for a Senior Antenna and Microwave Engineer who is seeking to utilize their strong academic background and experience in RF/Microwave system theory and design, including architectures, subsystems, components and Active Electronically Steered Antennas (AESAs). The successful candidate will employ their working knowledge of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) and analytical skills in electromagnetic and microwave theory.
Responsibilities- Design of RF microwave components and phased array applications.
- Integration and test of component level and system level phased array hardware.
- Provide technical support to production activities.
- Team leadership skills including cost and schedule management, proposal writing and presentation experience (desired).
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five years of prior relevant experience.
- Microwave/RF system, subsystem and component analysis, design and test.
- Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST or Mentor Graphics’ Xpedition.
- Analytical tools such as Matlab.
- Understanding of cost estimating, budget and schedule management.
- Strong academic background including courses in Microwave Engineering, Microwave Systems, Electromagnetic Theory and Radar Systems.
- Hands‑on experience with microwave testing techniques, including spectrums analyzers, real‑time spectrum analyzers (RSAs), vector network analyzers (VNAs) and performance network analyzers (PNAs).
- Eligible for a U.S. citizenship and active, transferable U.S. government issued security clearance, and ability to obtain an interim clearance prior to start date.
- Background designing and testing analog CCAs, including frequency conversion, automatic gain control, amplifier design and analog filter design.
- Experience allocating and flowing down requirements from the system to the component level.
On‑site role located in Tewksbury, MA (50 Apple Hill Dr, ASSABET BLDG). This position requires a DoD Secret clearance. The security clearance process is handled by DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services.
Our salary range for this role is $86,800 USD – $165,200 USD. The salary range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
