Fulltime- RF Electrical Engineer - Onsite

Job Overview

Onsite RF/Microwave Engineering position at Raytheon in the Greater Boston area (Tewksbury, MA, Andover, MA, or Marlborough, MA). The role supports design, test, and integration of compound semiconductor devices, microwave/millimeter‑wave integrated circuits, modules, and phased‑array hardware for radar and early‑warning systems. A SECRET security clearance is required prior to start.

• Perform fixture and on‑wafer probe measurements.
• Assemble RF/microwave/millimeter‑wave test systems.
• Use software to control test equipment and plot results.
• Support MMIC and module design teams.
• Integrate and test digital, analog, and RF components and modules.
• Conduct circuit analysis, simulation, documentation, and obsolescence trade assessments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware performance issues during integration, test, and verification.
• Analyze hardware/firmware test requirements and specifications to determine necessary requirements.
• Develop solutions to test issues and implement productivity and efficiency enhancements.
• Collaborate with test technicians, factory facilitators, operations managers, quality assurance, and reliability personnel.
• Design RF microwave components and phased‑array applications.
• Integrate and test component‑level and system‑level phased‑array hardware.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field.
• Experience or coursework in RF/microwave, analog, digital electronics, circuit design or analysis, electrical components, or electromagnetics.
• Lab experience specific to RF/microwave device and circuit measurements.
• Proficiency with software:
  Python, LabVIEW, Keysight ADS, HFSS, Cadence Virtuoso, MATLAB, CST, Mentor Graphics Expedition, AutoCAD, TCAD, C++, Java, JMP.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work 100% onsite and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• All candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain a SECRET security clearance.
