Overview
Raytheon invites a college graduate to join our RF/Microwave Engineering Team. The team designs, tests, and manufactures semiconductor devices, integrated circuits, and modules for defense applications. As a member of the team, you will work on systems and equipment for radar programs such as Global Patriot and Early Warning Systems.
LocationThis is an onsite role located in Tewksbury, MA, Andover, MA, or Marlborough, MA.
Security ClearanceU.S. citizenship is required. A secret U.S. government‑issued security clearance must be obtained prior to starting the role.
What You Will Do- Perform fixtured and on‑wafer probe measurements
- Assemble RF/microwave/millimeter‑wave test systems
- Use software to control test equipment and plot results
- Support the MMIC and module design teams
- Integrate and test digital, analog, and RF components and modules
- Conduct circuit analysis, simulation, documentation, trade assessments for obsolescence resolution, and troubleshoot hardware performance issues
- Analyze hardware/firmware test requirements and determine requirements
- Develop solutions to test issues and enhance productivity and efficiency
- Interact with test technicians, factory facilitators, operations managers, other engineers, QA and reliability personnel
- Design RF microwave components and phased‑array applications; integrate and test component‑level and system‑level phased‑array hardware
- RF/microwave device, MMIC, and module characterization techniques using spectrum analyzers, real‑time spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, and performance network analyzers
- Test system set‑up and use of software such as Python, LabVIEW, Keysight ADS, HFSS, Cadence Virtuoso, MATLAB, CST, Mentor Graphics Expedition, AutoCAD, TCAD, C++, Java, and JMP for data analysis
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field
- Experience or coursework in RF/microwave, analog, digital electronics, circuit design or analysis, electrical components, or electromagnetics
- Lab experience specific to RF/microwave device and circuit measurements
- Knowledge of electrical circuit design, analysis, and troubleshooting using common lab equipment
- Experience with software tools listed above (Python, LabVIEW, Keysight ADS, HFSS, Cadence Virtuoso, MATLAB, CST, Mentor Graphics Expedition, AutoCAD, TCAD, C++, Java, JMP)
