Location:

US-MA-MARLBOROUGH-MA1 ~ 1001 Boston Post Rd ~ BLDG 1

This position is onsite in Marlborough or Tewksbury, MA.

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Security clearance type:
DoD Clearance Secret. Active and existing clearance required after day 1.

What You Will Do
  • Lead with

    Purpose:

    Inspire and direct the team of about 15 members as you set clear and measurable goals while effectively communicating with the team.
  • Strategic Oversight:
    Collaborate with the team to monitor and refine project plans, schedules, and budgets while identifying essential resources.
  • Drive Results:
    Foster a culture of urgency and accountability, encouraging optimal solutions.
  • Champion Growth:
    Prioritize professional development and growth for team members.
  • Resource Allocation:
    Act as a liaison between team members and programs, ensuring alignment of assignments, recognition, and performance.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    Oversee performance development and appraisal, salary planning, manpower planning, career coaching, and ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Technical Leadership:
    Contribute to the technical oversight of employees, monitor program execution, and provide technical expertise in direct support of program efforts and proposal activities.
  • Communication & Reporting:
    Lead team communication, highlights and reporting responsibilities.
  • Problem Solving:
    Serve as escalation point and recommend strategic solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Drive initiatives and support department projects enhancing productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Commitment to Excellence:
    Promote Continuous Improvement and CORE system adherence.
  • Dedicate approximately 10% of time to leadership duties, with the remaining time focused on technical contributions.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience in hardware engineering design, development or production program execution.
  • Experience with leadership in frontline or project leader positions or Performance Development.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Advanced degrees in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Math, or related science degree.
  • Strong interpersonal, technical writing, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with performance development processes and experience working in a matrix environment.
  • Proven ability to manage projects, lead teams, and foster collaboration.
  • Experience in technical and cost proposal development and a focus on process improvements.
