Electrical Engineer – Industrial / Process Facilities

Seeking an Electrical Engineer (5–10 years) with experience in industrial, chemical, or high-hazard environments. This role supports design and construction of process-driven facilities, including new builds and complex upgrades.

• Design electrical systems for industrial/process facilities (power distribution, MCCs, lighting, controls)
• Perform load calculations, short circuit & coordination studies, and arc flash analysis
• Develop drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit (one-lines, panel schedules, layouts)
• Support instrumentation and controls (I&C) and interface with process/controls engineers
• Specify and select equipment (transformers, switch gear, MCCs, VFDs, UPS systems)
• Work within NEC, NFPA, and applicable industrial safety standards
• Conduct site visits for field verification, redlines, and commissioning support
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (process, mechanical, construction)

• Experience in chemical plants, manufacturing, energy, or other industrial environments
• Familiarity with hazardous locations (Class I Div 1/2, ATEX, etc.) strongly preferred
• Understanding of process equipment integration (pumps, skids, reactors, etc.)
• Exposure to PLC/SCADA systems, instrumentation, or controls design is a plus
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Strong communication and ability to work in field + design environments

This is not a typical commercial MEP role — projects involve process-driven systems, hazardous environments, and complex industrial facilities, requiring close coordination with process and controls engineering teams.
