Mechanical Engineer ; On-site

Location:

Marlborough or Tewksbury, MA (On‑site).

Security Clearance:
Must obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required; clearance must be active after day 1.

• Mechanical design and documentation of hardware and systems utilizing engineering tools and MS Office.
• Contribute as part of a small team during product development, part and drawing creation, drawing release, and drawing change incorporation.
• Apply mechanical engineering knowledge to efficiently solve complex design problems and make sound, data‑oriented conclusions in a fast‑paced team environment.
• Provide factory and supplier support.
• Collaborate with other mechanical engineers, designers, structural/thermal analysts, and engineers from other disciplines to support business objectives.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) obtained prior to start.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship, as required for a security clearance.
• Experience with CAD software or Creo.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team settings, evidenced through class projects, professional internships, or academic research.
• Strong aptitude for efficient and disciplined process execution, with flexibility to adapt processes as needed.
• Proven ability to apply academic engineering principles to identify and resolve design challenges.
• Comprehensive understanding of mechanical engineering design processes.
• Self‑motivated with strong organizational skills, capable of managing workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with mechanical tolerance analysis and application of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

• Salary range: $57,200 – $108,800 USD.

• This position requires a security clearance. The DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS) handles the clearance process.
