Position
Senior Electrical Engineer – Test Solutions (TS) team at RTX (formerly Raytheon).
OverviewResponsible for designing, developing, and integrating test equipment and interface adapters for mission‑critical aerospace and defense systems. The role involves hands‑on work with test instrumentation, automation, and software integration.
Location100% onsite in Tewksbury/Andover, MA.
Security ClearanceU.S. citizenship required. Must hold an active, transferable DoD Secret Clearance prior to start date.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and integrate Raytheon test equipment capabilities in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Design and fabricate production test stations, Interface Test Adapters (ITAs), and harnesses.
- Create technical drawings, schematics, and circuit designs; perform circuit analysis.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues during design, development, and integration phases.
- Mentor and coordinate cross‑functional teams of 3–5 members, ensuring on‑time and within‑scope delivery.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, or an advanced degree with 3 years of related experience.
- Proficiency in electrical design, analysis, and schematic interpretation using tools such as Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, or Creo Schematic.
- Experience with COTS test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, power meters).
- Strong troubleshooting, analysis, and testing skills.
- Project management, bid and proposal, and technical writing experience.
- Programming language experience for test automation.
- Experience designing, testing, and integrating digital, mixed‑signal, and electrical system interconnects.
- Experience with analog, digital, and/or RF design.
Salary range: 86,800
USD – 165,200
USD, depending on experience and qualifications.
