Position: Electrical & Electronics (E&E) Engineer II - Test Solutions – Onsite (Tewksbury/Andover, MA)

Job Overview

Electrical Engineer II – Test Solutions (TS) – 100% onsite – Tewksbury/Andover, MA. Requires U.S. citizenship and a valid DoD Secret clearance. The role is part of RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and integrate test equipment capabilities in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Design production test stations, interface test adapters (ITAs), and harnesses.
  • Create technical drawings, schematics, and conduct circuit design and analysis.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues throughout design, development, and integration processes.
  • Manage technical, cost, and schedule aspects of projects.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and at least 2 years of relevant electrical engineering experience, OR an advanced degree in a related field.
  • Experience in electrical engineering, including troubleshooting, analysis, and testing.
  • Proficiency with electrical design tools such as Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, or Creo Schematic.
  • Experience with COTS test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, power meters).
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing test equipment for production factory or military depot environments.
  • Design, testing, and integration of digital, mixed‑signal, and electrical interconnect systems.
  • Analog, digital, power, or RF design experience.
  • Understanding of computer architecture, hardware optimization, and common data protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, RS‑422).
  • Familiarity with integrated development environments and debugging tools.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD. Eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, and paid time off. Possible incentive compensation and parental leave as per company policies.

Eligibility & Security Clearance

U.S. citizen or U.S. person required. Must hold or be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance prior to start date.
