Systems Engineer, Test Engineer
Position:
Systems Engineer – Integration & Test (Onsite)
Location:
Tewksbury, MA (and/or Andover or Woburn, MA)
Travel: up to 20% required for test events.
- Support engineering activities related to testing and troubleshooting of hardware and software.
- Analyze real world and test data; conduct trade studies to enhance system features.
- Perform troubleshooting, failure data analysis, root‑cause investigation, and corrective action.
- Support system integration and test, including live fire test events.
- Compile detailed performance evaluations using analysis tools such as MATLAB.
- Support qualification of products and sustainment/repair of depot returns.
- Maintain engineering specifications, drawings, and engineering databases.
- Prepare and present results in reports and briefings to internal or external stakeholders.
- Participate in periodic team meetings, teleconferences, and working groups.
After completion of comprehensive on‑the‑job training, you will be an integral part of Systems Engineering, Integration & Test activities across the product development life cycle.
Qualifications You Must Have- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) completed before the start date.
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues using commercial test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.) in an academic or internship setting.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance (Secret). U.S. citizenship is required.
- Undergraduate level knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and/or software system integration.
- Familiarity with C/C++/C# programming.
- Experience with military platforms such as ships, ground combat systems, or aircraft.
- Experience with MATLAB or Python scripting for data collection and analysis.
- Experience with electrical schematics, interface control documents, and communications protocols.
