WhatYou Will Do
The Air Defense Ground Equipment (ADGE) Mechanical Design Department is responsible for the mechanical design, development, and integration of critical defense platform systems. This includes radar and communications shelters, electronic subsystems, launchers, hardware integration, and system interconnects.
Key Responsibilities- Training and application of RTX tools including CREO and PDM.
- Design and Documentation support utilizing engineering tools, Adobe, and MS office suite.
- Engineering Change and Drawing Release.
- Training on Raytheon processes and procedures.
- Responsible for component and assembly modeling, documentation, design changes, and release processes.
- Support design and development efforts in such areas as mechanical systems, thermal systems, materials, test equipment, hardware processes, or manufacturing processes.
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship.
- Must have a minimum of 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Experience using computer aided design (CAD) software such as CREO, Solid Works, Fusion 360, or equivalent.
- We Prefer 3.5 or above cumulative GPA desired.
- Prior engineering project or internship experience.
- Experience with Windchill PDM.
- Experience presenting information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD.
