Engineering Finance SETC Analyst - SRS

Location:

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes for Surface Radars and Sensors Center.
• Deliver insightful financial analysis and variance reports to Surface Radar and Sensors Center.
• Provide support to strategic decision‑making and collaborate with Center Lead, Department Lead, and Section Leads to align financial goals with business objectives.
• Monitor OH spending and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with RTX financial policies, procedures, and reporting standards.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes, including preparation of presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements and leverage digital tools to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial processes.
• Prepare labor transfers and IOTs as required.

• Strategic Financial Decision‑Making: analyze complex financial data to support high‑impact decisions and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

• Compliance and Governance: learn financial policies, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Leadership and Influence: influence outcomes, mentor junior analysts, and lead cross‑functional initiatives.

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
• Preferred: experience in the aerospace and defense industry or a large multinational corporation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and influence outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of SAP.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex financial information to non‑financial stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Salary range: 107,500 USD – 204,500 USD (good‑faith estimate).
