What You Will Do
- Maintain and enhance key planning tools, financial models, and templates that enable accurate forecasting and effective decision‑making.
- Maintain and execute Engineering Overhead budgets and the overall financial planning cadence.
- Maintain historical records and analyze trends to develop insights and recommendations supporting financial goals.
- Execute monthly and quarterly financial close requirements and produce monthly forecasting.
- Perform master data control point activities and prepare what‑if scenarios to support overhead projections.
- Partner with Engineering Finance leadership and Directorate Business Managers to drive an effective overhead planning process, including the monthly forecast and Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Professional experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel/PowerPoint) and Excel Power Query.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling (FP&A).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Clear, concise communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Experience with APEX/SAP/Business Warehouse, Alteryx, Tableau, and/or Power BI.
- Forward‑thinking and ability to manage multiple priorities, with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
