Job Title:
Finance Senior Manager – Operations, Supply Chain & Quality (OSCQ)
We are looking for a finance senior manager to lead OSCQ finance activities for the Strategic Sensors and Precision Strike (SSPS) Sub Strategic Business Unit. The role will support the primary program TPY‑2 and other parts of the SSPS SSBU, working closely with program managers and finance teams. This is a hybrid position based in Tewksbury, MA.
Responsibilities- Lead a team of two M4 managers and several analysts focused on OSC operational, financial, and program performance metrics.
- Hire, develop, and manage a staff of financial professionals.
- Serve as a program team member working closely with OSC SSBU – Material Program Managers (MPMs) and Program Operations Managers (POMs), OSC Finance & PMO finance teams to ensure accurate measurement, control, and understanding of reported costs and schedules.
- Prepare data to analyze and support quarterly EAC review process with OSC SSBU – MPMs & POMs & OSC Finance team.
- Develop analysis for OSC Monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monthly reviews (PER/M /S&OP/S&OE).
- Prepare management‑level assessments of product performance for strategic direction and cost profile.
- Prepare financial plans, monitor implementation of budget policy, produce regular and special reports, maintain historical records, analyze trends, and support the establishment of cost rates and forecasts.
- Interpret budgetary policies and procedures, compare actual costs against budget, and determine rationale for variances.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies including Sarbanes‑Oxley and EVMS/EAC requirements.
- Direct activities to meet critical deadlines with accurate and auditable data.
- University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS) and Estimates at Complete (EAC) process.
- Experience with APEX, PRISM, material and labor ETC tools or related tools.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including executive‑level interaction.
- Results‑ and detail‑oriented; proactive, creative, and innovative with critical and strategic thinking.
- Strong analytical, problem identification, and problem‑solving skills including risk & opportunity management.
- Ability to coordinate, influence, and build rapport across Program Management, Finance, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Mission Assurance, Human Resources.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
- Sense of urgency and ability to meet multiple commitments.
- Knowledge of government contracting preferred.
- Salary range USD 132,400 – 251,600.
