Travel RN - Psychiatric

American Traveler is seeking a Psychiatric RN with a MA license for a transitional support services role focusing on addiction treatment in a structured day shift schedule.

Job Details

• Position based in a transitional support detox program,

• Provides care for adults during withdrawal and recovery from alcohol and/or other drugs,

• Work hours are 8am-2pm, Monday through Friday, day shift,

• Weekend shifts may be required as needed,

• No local candidates accepted; must live at least 50 miles from the facility,

Job Requirements

• Valid and current MA RN license required,

• Current CPR certification required,

• Experience in addiction treatment services preferred but not required,

• Must be separated from employment at the associated health system for at least 6 months prior to consideration,

• COVID vaccine with booster and current Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed),

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include recording and reporting patient symptoms, administering medications, and assisting with daily living activities,

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team and participate in team meetings,

• Assist with patient admission, discharge, and transfer processes,

• Participation in pass/fail Tele/ECG and medication competency testing may be required,

• Maintain accurate medical records and contribute to the development of patient care plans,
