System Administrator – Information Workplace Services
Location:

Role Type:

- Provide system administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
- Obtain DoDD 8140/8570 certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within a reasonable time‑frame.
- Work on a 24×7 operational schedule with occasional work beyond standard hours.
- Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity, including integration of hardware and operating systems.
- Work with cybersecurity professionals to maintain security compliance requirements.
- Follow documentation and training on advanced IT processes, procedures and other tasks as assigned.
- Provide feedback to improve documentation and training.
- Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
- Coordinate travel (up to 10% per year) to other U.S. domestic locations as business needs dictate.
- University degree or equivalent experience.
- Less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
- Experience with Microsoft Windows administration.
- Experience deploying, configuring and maintaining operating systems and clients.
- Experience with Linux operating system administration.
- Experience with patching and security hardening.
- Experience troubleshooting computer system hardware and software issues.
- Experience supporting engineering or developers in an isolated network environment.
- Salary range: 57,200
USD – 108,800
