Senior Information System Security Manager (ISSM)

Tewksbury, MA

Security Clearance:
Top Secret – must have active existing clearance at day 1.

• Participates in interdepartmental projects and provides counsel on cybersecurity policy and procedures.
• Provides direct supervision of a team, training, mentoring, and performance feedback.
• Interfaces with internal and external security personnel, customers, management, and U.S. Government representatives.
• Conducts training, briefings, and presentations for multiple business levels.
• Interfaces and disseminates necessary cyber event information to appropriate internal and external organizations and audiences.
• Accountable for implementation of cybersecurity policies and procedures within the area of responsibility.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the cybersecurity leadership team.
• Business travel up to 20% as needed.

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience (or Advanced Degree with minimum 7 years) in cybersecurity, systems security, or related IT.
• Experience leading direct reports and/or managing and mentoring teams.
• Relevant experience in network security, system security, architecture, topology, protocols, components, or principles.
• Experience with compliance‑based auditing using RMF, DCSA Assessment and Authorization Process Manual, JSIG, NISPOM, SNAC guides, Nessus, SCAP, ICD‑503, ACAS or non‑defense regulations (e.g., FAA, PCI, ISO 9001).
• Project or program management experience.
• Experience in oversight and execution of Assessment & Authorization processes (Certification & Accreditation) as defined in JSIG/RMF.
• Experience in information system incident response and administrative investigations.
• Experience in continuous monitoring/improvement programs.
• Technical security expertise for complex, cross‑domain, classified networked environments.
• Knowledge of UNIX, Linux, Solaris, IRIX, SUSE, and MAC operating systems.
• Experience with special test equipment and platform IT.
• Experience working with internal and external customers, basis of estimates, contract negotiations.

Within six months of hire date, you must obtain and maintain a security‑professional certification commensurate with IAM LevelIII (CISSP, CISM, GSLC, CCISO, or other) if not already earned.
