Scrum Master

Overview

Leidos is seeking a Scrum Master to support the Chief Engineer and Agile Coach on the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Next (C1N) ACSS contract. You will contribute to the technical execution of a program that integrates proven technologies with cloud-native capabilities in a regulated, safety-critical environment.

• Lead the team in executing Continuous Flow/ Kanban or planned sprint activities.
• Facilitate and lead all team ceremonies, including Refinements, Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives, and Demos, using metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Actively remove impediments related to feature development, builds, dependencies, operational support, and processes.
• Provide timely status, risk, and dependency reporting to management, including sprint execution, team availability, and delivery blockers.
• Help teams design, develop, document, configure, test, and debug applications across the full software development life cycle.
• Support the Agile Coach in teaching and executing hybrid SAFe 6 and Extreme Programming across the program.
• Encourage the use of AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, refactoring, debugging, and test creation.
• Promote Dev Sec Ops  concepts and tooling.
• Mentor junior team members to meet commitments and milestones.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment and delivery.
• Participate in and lead PI Planning events.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of experience or Master’s with 6+ years.
• SAFe 6 experience and knowledge of AI-Native SAFe; SAFe 6 Leading SAFe certification; SAFe 6 Scrum Master certification; SAFe 6 Dev Ops certification.
• Significant knowledge of Dev Sec Ops  methodology, security, and cloud environments; strong software development principles;
  Dev Sec Ops  practices.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, Subversion).
• Experience as a Team Coach/Scrum Master within SAFe;
  Kanban/Continuous Flow.
• Understanding of Extreme Programming principles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Active Secret Clearance and US citizenship required.

• Knowledge of AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex).
• Experience with microservices and cloud-based environments.
• Experience with Terraform/Ansible.
• Knowledge of Cloud Certifications and Operations experience.
• Advanced SAFe 6 or AI-Native SAFe certifications.
